Strategic Growth for Sherborne
NEW masterplanning has been appointed by Sherborne Castle Estates to work in collaboration with the Estate, key stakeholders and the local community in preparing a masterplan for the strategic growth of Sherborne in Dorset. The vision is for the creation of a masterplanned new neighbourhood to the west of Sherborne; new homes, workspaces and facilities which would support the vitality of Sherborne town centre and enhance the sustainability of the existing community. The land is identified in the emerging Dorset Local Plan and is an opportunity to provide a mix of housing, green open spaces and workplaces, together with the necessary infrastructure, in a beautifully designed evolution of Sherborne to meet the needs of local people.
